DICE iPod installed, now no navigation voice?

I have navigation from the factory and I just bought a Dice Ipod adapter for the Mini Cooper head unit.

I installed it and everything is working except the navigation voice does not speak anymore. Navigation directions still work, but the voice no longer speaks.

I checked the voice volume and that's fine. So, I don't know what it is.

Here is the weird thing..I have my NAV on, when a command is given, the music goes soft and you typically hear the voice. Now the music will go soft and no voice comes on the speakers, and then the music goes back to normal volume.

there is a navi voice wire connect to your stock radio.. you need to unplug it from your dice adapter wire and reconnect it to your radio plug. problem solved.

Glad to hear that the DICE looks like you will be back to hearing your directions.

I also have NAV and chose the Intravee II system and it couldn't have been easier to set up. Simply plugs into the changer connections in the back. Out of the way and it's a pleasure to be able to search the entire Ipod, playlists, artists, etc from the NAV and MFSW controls..

...just my 2 cents worth.. Enjoy!

Does anyone have pictures of the piece I need to disconnect from the DICE and connect to my stock radio?

It didn't look like there was anything to disconnect on the DICE and reconnect to my stock radio..

If you compare the stock radio plug and the plug from DICE, you will notice on the stock plug got more wires. so you want to make sure all that wires plug right into the back of your radio. All you need to do is unplug the extra wires from the stock plug and plug into the dice plug and plug right in back the radio. get it???
