Drove about 300 miles today in beautiful weather putting my MINI over the 60K mark. The day started out less than perfect with an oil change and identifying a leak at the O ring of the crank sensor and a leak at a power steering hose. Total estimated repair....$300.

Ya know, that supercharger thing sure is fun! Thought I would see more MINI relatives but surprisingly not that many MINIs out and about today. Only one wave most of the day but in reality the other MINIs were on the other side of the highway so no real way to exchange waves. Was two for two with realistic waves. Towards the end of the return trip home a liquid yellow 1st Gen. MCS entered the highway as I was in the passing lane. After the obligatory wave we motored together for 10 or 15 miles. Motoring with a fellow MINI is even more fun than motoring alone. 4+ hours of motoring but much more enjoyable in the MINI!
