Car storage center

A Mini owner at the Chaplain School asked me if I knew of a place that would store and take care of his mini while he is stationed in Japan for 2 years starting in June. He doesn't want to sell it, but he can't take it with him over there. This is not the same Chaplain who was with us in the St Paddys Day parade.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd appreciate anything to give him. I'm going to call the dealership in Charleston for suggestions too.

There is a place here in Concord called AutoBarn LLC. Not sure what they would charge for that length of time.

Auto Storage USA is in Florida. Again no rate info on website. They do drive the car on private oval track periodically.

Atlantic Auto Storage is in Arrington, VA outside of Richmond. There site says rates are $100 a month. Again they will ove the car periodically inside the warehouse.

Dave tell your friend to check with his insurance company. Most offer decreased rates while vehicle is in storage. He may be able to offset the cost buy saving there.

Ok Carol I wont say a word.

The Chaplain contacted those places, and the minimum it would cost for him to keep at one of them would be 8000 for 3 years, so he is going to have to sell it. If anyone wants to buy a yellow 07 MCS with under 12000 miles, he's looking to sell.

I have no garage, but if he has car cover he can park it at my house, fenced in and I will drive it and wash it once in awhile and there will be no charge! Best offer I can come up with, Luke

Thanks, Luke, I'll see if he's interested in that, I know he's hating to sell it.
