Hey everyone,
Here is the link to Team Mini Cooper on the Relay For Life. You can click on donate, or you can Join the Team and be out there with us. You don't have to do all twelve hours, we'll have some cots and chairs and grub so you can relax for part of it and walk part of it.
Here's the link:
http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg...team_id=457915
Even if you can't be part of it, please consider a small donation. They say we should try and get $100 per person on each team. I think it is possible to make $1000.
More information to come.
Take it easy!!!!

We can go over and set things up between 10 and 5 pm on Friday, so hopefully I will get over there sometime early Friday afternoon.. one of the rules no vehicles on the track.. so I am NOT bringing the camper, just dont want issues with it... but David and I are bringing a tent and a screen house, pls do not forget to bring your folding chairs.. I will also have camp cots and blankets.. if you think your going to sleep, bring pillows and blankets pls, sleeping bags et al..
Also the plan to bring storm with us fails.. no dogs or pets on or around the relay track!
so for anyone who planned on bringing their four footed friend.. pls don't.
Things to bring...
raingear.. they walk rain or shine!
bug spray or those off clip on things we bought for the drive in.. good stuff
flashlights or battery operated lanterns.. david and i have a few lanterns..
Money to support onsite fund raising.. different groups are doing fundraisers during the relay...
On that note: We will be selling coffee, tea, biscotti, and hot dogs..
If anyone has portable gas grills.. pls bring it with enough propane.. I have one.. but I am thinking we may need a few more.
Also we will have soda and water to sell as well.
We will be at 500 ball park rd in lexington.. I will be there early, so not sure if any of you guys have plans to motor together, I'll leave it up to you.. I will have my cell phone if anyone needs anything or has any questions.. pls try to remember to bring any funds you have raised, so we can bank it and get a complete total. David has been super busy bugging the God Squad on post for donations! Thanks T!, and of course thanks to the members of this club who are participating or have donated!! Without you this would not be possible. When and if I get more information stay tuned here because I will be posting throughout the week as more information comes in.!!!!
Also anyone who still would like to donate, the link was posted at the top of this thread! Thank you!!!!

Work on the mini MINI is coming along nicely. She's red with black strips; lights; horn; sporty wheels. Her tag is "CURE". Her message is "Motoring for the Cure". Looking forward to the evening. Hope some others can join us, at least for a few hours Friday evening. Would love to see a good gathering of MINI's for team MINI. Carol thanks for all you've done. See ya Friday.
Carol, Sheroyn and I will be there. I've got cold water, cokes, pepsis and sprites. I'll bring a table. mini MINI is ready to roll. Do you have a tent location or anything....where can I meet you?? I guess we can't get the MINI's near the tent?? Sure would look nice! My cell is 960-0697 if we don't hook up by 6, give me a call. See ya there. Tell David to wear a pretty dress!!
David... needs to get his legs waxed!!!
We can take the cars down on the track while we are setting up!! But I think they have to be off by 5 ish... I do believe I signed up for campsite number 10.. I will call you after lunch and let you know for sure.. right now I am working on a flyer that I was emailed about listing what we have.. and how much.. we need one to post and a bunch to hand out!!! I cannot wait to see the "mini" mini!!! David and I have a friend in England ( a childhood friend of his who's husband passed away from cancer in april) who donated last nite, bringing our total up to..$440.00. we have a few more donations we should have today and with what we are selling tonight, I see no reason why we won't be up over $500.00 wooT that is awesome, I am so excited. Anyone else who wants to jump in are welcome to meet us, at the location listed at the top of the thread. The more the merrier!!!
