Cudos to Issac at Princeton MINI

Went in for service, treated professionally by Issac Crum and the people at Princeton MINI. Service was quick and overall a great experience. Refreshing not to fear taking car to Dealer and worrying about end result!

I have to agree. They have come a long way and their service is top notch.

Seems like I can never get outta there without another follow up visit. It's not their fault and they have been more than helpful.

Which dealer do you think is best in NJ? Service wise that is. Prestige, Morristown or Princeton?

This is not just for the OP, but anyone who can answer it. I'll have to take my car to one of them eventually, might as well be the one people like the most.

I love Prestige.
I bought my car from them and get her serviced there. I've actually been there almost every week for the past month for silly little things and they've been nothing short of wonderful. I couldn't think of one complaint if I tried...

Yeah I have to say Issac Crum is a good guy and has always gone out of his way to take care of me. I can't imagine my car being your typical simple service since its only a inch off the ground and won't go on the lifts but they take care of it with out a problem

Bought my car from Prestige on 11-28-08 and have had it back there for service issues a bunch of times but for minor things. Sales and service are very professional. I live 15 minutes away and being right on Rt 17 and close to 87/287 is very convenient.

I purchased the JCW suspension and had it installed at Morristown. Even though I live 50 miles away, I was on a long term project in the area so it was convenient to do the work there. They provided a loaner car for 2 days while the work was being done. I received very good service and no problems at Morristown MINI.

I have bought a bunch of parts from Morristown MINI as they heavily discount MINI parts online, on eBay and if you ask at the parts counter they extend the discounts to you in person.

I would recommend both places.

I like the guys at Morristown Mini. Very professional and have done well by me. I expecially like the fact that they have moved into the old BMW location which is 1/2 mile from my house.....

^ How is the new location ? I take it they have more space now. I too agree Morristown has really taken good care of me and i buy all my oem parts from them.

Ive never been to the old BMW building, but i think i may take a trip there tomorrow to check it out and get some parts I also think they should invite us all to their "New" grand-opening and throw a party for us owners, complete with Gourmet buffet and Champagne !

Ahh I agree about the second part They should join the board and throw us a Mini meet sponsored by the dealer. I'm sure they could sell us some goodies.

My only comparison was when I was shopping for my car, I thought Morristown really didn't care much about me as a customer (like they were doing me a favor), especially when they brought over the Manager to evealuate my trade in (2002 CRV) and he completely low balled me, and was a ***** about, saying your never going to get decent value for it unless you went to a honda dealership (hello, your part of open road). Well my next stop was princeton, although a smaller dealership (I did have to wait a bit longer), the salesman (have to go look up his name, young guy) seemed like he really wanted my buisness a lot more. Then they offered me over $3K more on my trade, needless to say you know who has my buisness, despite beng about 30 min. further away.

yes- i agree. Isaac and John at Princeton Mini are great. I bought my Mini there just last month. I had a small issue with the interface for my ipod, and they replaced it under warranty, no questions, no stress.... I wouldn't have considered buying the Mini unless I knew that the dealership/service was nearby

PRINCETON MINI ROCKS:

The service dept. at Princeton Mini to me is by far the best Jimmy,Issac and John are the best last week my Mini was in for service and I got there early and could not wait for a loaner and Jimmy gave me a new car to take home (I KNOW HE HAD TO PULL SOME STRINGS) they know me now and I get well taken care of they treat you like a small mom and pop shop but are very big dealership. 2 thumbs up! Chris...

I initially tried to go to Princeton back in August 2008 for some warranty work, and needed a loaner. Called once and they wanted to schedule a service appt w/loaner like 6 weeks later so i said forget it. I called back a few weeks later and they took my number and said someone would call me back to make the appt. im still waiting for that call back.

so i went to morristown. the service was so so. I was having the cold weather issue, and they said they would need the car until the next day, and gave me a loaner. 15 minutes after I left they diagnosed the problem and said nothing was wrong with the car, but a $150 fuel injection cleaning not covered by the warranty or service would fix the problem. I was a little suspicious. I declined. While I was their I went to buy mudflaps, they charge more if you buy them their then online. about $20 more. and btw, they havent moved to the new location yet. I was just their this last Thursday to buy a part. And I was like??? Then called and they told me they didnt move yet.

Reading peoples experience here at Princeton, I think I'm ready to try them again.

I have been to Princeton 3 or 4 times for service or warranty work and have had no issues. If you need a loaner it takes a couple weeks to schedule and you need to tell them when youe make the appointment. I have been in both for minor service and major service work, steering and top replaced, I would recomend them to any one.

They still have not moved into the old BMW location. They are still in their old place on Bank Street.

Does anyone know if they will perform an oil change after a year? or will they only do it if the info center says its due for service.

Yearly oil changes (on service anniversary) or by OBD mileage. If a yearly oil change before mileage, they won't reset the OBD indicator.
