Gauging interest in parts - need your input

Hey guys I was talking to a friend at Full-Race about possibly developing some parts for the R56 Cooper-S and JCW. However he wanted to see if there was any interest besides me.

If you dont know anything about Full-Race ... then let me show you some of the quality of work they do. They are well known in the Honda, Evo, STI, and Audi market for building some of the most bad *** turbo kits around. They also build other turbo components like downpipes, intercoolers, ect.

Here are some pics:

Evo Twinscoll Manifold:

Downpipe:

STI Rotated Turbo - Turbo Kit:

Honda Intercooler:

So what I wanted to ask is how many people would be interested in the following:

1) A direct bolt on catless downpipe that removes all cats

2) Another intercooler option

3) Hardpipe kit for all the intercooler piping

4) Chime in with anything else you would like to see.

I think a hard-pipe kit is a great idea. Pipe metal will shed heat so much more quickly than any polymer based tubes.

I'm sure race enthusiasts would like to see a tubular manifold with the option of an external wastegate, EGT sensor, etc...
Though I don't know if space is adequate. But if this was created, then they could also create a downpipe with a divorced wastegate exhaust path.

I think the options you listed are great, though the IC market is a bit saturdated.

That Evo manifold is yummy! I would definitely prefer hard pipe kit to anything "rubber". So +1 for hard pipes!

Their prices are very fair. Its not cheap but not outrageous either.

A tubular manifold would be awesome ... Im new to the Mini so I wasnt sure it the turbo is part of the manifold like on the SRT4 or 335i.

I would love hard pipes for all the tubes and turbo manifold.

I sent him a link to this thread ... he said he would need like 25 people willing to get parts to make them. I didnt think thats unreasonable

One clarification...

I'd like to see a thin wall "stainless" hard-pipe kit (un-painted of course)

I was looking at their website and maybe a bigger radiator could help us at least those of us that run our cars in the track.

Wow that stuff looks sharp.

Id be interested in hardpipe kits, exhaust manifolds (something that would allow for a different/bigger turbo), and a DP.

Im scared though... the stuff looks very expensive
