I decided to replace the LEFT APRON COVER which is at the bottom of the windscreen on the passangers side (UK MINI RHD R56 MCS) and when I removed the old apron cover. the WINDOW GASKET, LEFT REAR came out with it. I have looked at all the possible ways to fit it back on the car but cannot see where it goes. The RealOEM site shows the parts no3 and no7 at the address below. Can anyone help me please.

I wonder how you may have resolved this. I'm having the same problem with the other side.

 

no answer yet, but i'll be replacing both aprons whenever the parts arrive. The rubber seal on the aprons have disintegrated... very poor material engineering :(

Hopefully, there will be an answer or i'll see a solution.

 

I ordered both the apron pieces as well. Just haven't gotten around to replacing them. I think I'll be ordering #6, and #1 for good measure. #7 does not apply to US spec cars.

 

After much screaming and cursing, i got both pieces in. Didn't see #6 anywhere (only #10 getting in the way) and #7 doesn't apply to US cars as mikeyb74 said.

Probably should have replaced #1 as well, the adhesive was disintegrating and was basically drooping down and wouldn't lock into the slot on the backside below the rubber gasket. A dab of silicone sealer and blue tape held it in place as I tried to get #4 into place and not have it sticking up where it meets #3.
