I just got my oem sirius receiver, installation kit, and antenna. Despite getting the installation kit, they conveniently did not come with instructions. Where exactly are the factory plug/s that connect to the receiver? Every who has added Sirius to their car has not had H/K. so their receivers go on the passenger side. (where my hk amp is) so mine has to go to the other side. I told Classic MINI that i have h/k and they said it didnt matter. So if anyone has a set of instructions, pictures of an installed unit, or location of the plugs in the boot, id really appreciate it.

 

Im pretty good at answering my own questions... appears that I was misinformed about the need for additional parts for HK. I need extension cables. and i found instructions here...

I have HK and installed an XM radio and the Blitz interface all in the same right side cubby with the HK amp. It is tight, but it fits.

 

That's because the Blitzsafe XM adapter is physically much smaller than the OEM SIRIUS interface.
