Boost gauge problem

Ok so I bet there is a thread around here somewhere about this, but i cant find a specific one. So i hooked into the correct line and the meter reads but when im running the gauge wont go bast zero. I have tested it with my scan gauge II and it hits zero at the same time, but it wont go past zero??? The scangauge reads the correct boost but the mechanical gauge wont? Any ideas? does anyone have a picture of their actual t installed on the correct line. Its an 02 r53

I used the Alta website instructions/illustrations to place the T fitting into the MAP line on the passenger side under the intercooler. Here are some of the pictures that helped me.

Maybe its the gauge if you do have it connected to the right line...

I found an adapter fitting that goes from schrader to 1/8" NPT. You should be able to rig up something to a small hand pump to test it. I used a shock pump from my mountain bike when I checked my oil pressure gauge. A regular bicycle tire pump would also work.
