Hey all. Wanted to post and let you all know we are moving to Maryland. Bob got his contract on Monday and has to report at the new jobsite by Feb 16. We left this afternoon to look for a place to live. I will be flying back to pack our house and then I will go. We want you all to know that we have enjoyed all of you! You took us in and made us feel very welcome and we will miss you. There is a jobsite opening in Salisbury in July so we may be back, but probably not. You see, if we want to go somewhere we end up going somewhere else! LOL
Anyway, please keep in touch and I will still be on NAM. I have already been in contact with DC Metros so out to meet more MiNi owners!

Sounds good. With Bobs schedule its going to be hard to get out and meet people. AFter this week he will be overnights. 630p to 530a. Ya...thats gonna suck!!!

My children are leaving!!! I have friends in the DC area (where I lived for 25 years) so we'll have to stay in touch. I wish you guys only the best and I miss you already. Floyd and I love you (even though you were adopted).

 

Its been awhile but I wanted to update you all.

I left on Feb 27 toward Maryland. We are now in Prince Frederick MD.
We found a cute little 2 bedroom house to rent nestled off in the woods. Its the guest house of the owners.

Bob is working overnights and that takes some getting used to. In fact, we hate it but we are adjusting. He leaves at 430p and gets home around 430a. He sleeps until about 12 or 1230. I have learned to stay up late and sleep late and thats not good for me. I am pretty bored here. Noone to hang out with and we havent had time to meet up with DC Metros yet. They are having something this Saturday but Bob needs to get some sleep before we can do much. I think its a day thing going on.
We live in a very small town. I thought Shelby was small. Theres not much to do here at all. But the major cities are all within an hour from us.

I am trying to come back for my dads birthday next week and I see the dealer is having a function on Saturday night. I will see if I can make that.!

I miss you all. If any of you are up this way let me know and we can do dinner or something.

I won't be able to go to the dragon this year due to our daughter is turning 18 on May 1 and she wants us to come to IL.
I am having major MINI withdrawals!!!!

 

We miss you and Bob too!!!! What did you think of my green hair? No one is going to know me without the beard, but if the skin cancer doctor clears me, beard is on its way back. Your right we could have used a yellow mini in the parade, and your smiling faces also! Leaving in the morning for Vegas, yea yea! Shelby is in the big league now, they are getting a Starbucks next month! just kidding, we really miss you guys too!

No you will get passed over in Vegas as someone new until they hear your voice or see your car. I so wish I was going to Vegas. I think I am coming to NC instead. My dads birthday is the 26th so I think I am driving down on Wed and Bob is flying in on Saturday and he will go home on Monday. I will go home probably Tuesday or Wednesday. Looks like you all had a good time at the parade.

Prince Frederick is smaller and we have 2 here so I am good...LOL
I bought their Chai tea and I now make my own at home. Cheaper!
