I have checked this beauty out before. I did not know it would fit under the bonnet of the Mini. I'm certain we'll need a hood scoop or bulge. Can the transaxle take this kind of torque?

frankly,

i don't think our 6-speed getrag can handle this kind of torque;
we may need a beefed up tranny.

They should put that in the container ships hauling our MINIs across the pond, all travel time would be cut in half!

 

1660 Gallons per hour = 27.66 gallons per minute divided by 102 rpm = .27 gallons per revolution. 14 cylinders=About 2.5 oz per cylinder/revolution. Not bad for an engine with a 38"x98"(!) cylinder . The injectors must look like garden sprayers...

Might have to extend the bonnet a little bit, is my thinking.
