Hello CAMMers,
Stay out of the cold and Let have a thrill of driving go-kart on one of the best and most chanllenging indoor track in town.
Location: Allsports Grand Prix, Dulles, Va.
Format: Team Racing, of 120 laps
Tentative date: Sat, March 21st.
Time: TBA
Cost: TBA
Team Racing format is setup as a 120-lab endurance race, where a team of 2 drivers are assigned a single go-kart. Throughout the endurance race there will be mandatory driver changes that happen 'live" as the race is running. Normally, every 15-20 laps. The first team to complete the 120-lap race is the winner.
And to make this happen, we need at least 8 teams of 2 drivers for each team.
The event to be follow by dinner and the winner team's drivers will have a privilege of having FREE dinner, (complimentary from the losing teams
)!!!, plus a trophy.
Right now one team has confirmed and another one has shown some interest.
Please submit your interest HERE with the name of your team along with the name of two drivers asap, in order to reserve our private track time.

i cant post on the DCMM site, so i thought i would ask here- How many people are coming to this? and when is it?
I would love to join if it is in the evening... I will have just finished the BMWNCC's Karting league and ill be wanting someone to race with :D

It's only the Members area that you have to join the club to get access to.
we were interested in this event when Maxicooper posted it on DCMM -NAM but the thread was immediately closed as it was considered "possible event" on DCMM Forum the event is not mentioned at all.
As guest or non- DCMM Members I see only three threads .. .. with nothing going on .. really.
The autocross season is opening at the end of this month with CDC and BMWNCC but there is no place to put this info now, while these are not DCMM events some members or just DC- Baltimore METRO Area MINIacs may be interested in attending after all it is a MINI activity.
I guess for these events and other similar we need to post under CAMM, unless Edge closes this thread too

If you're talking about the thread on the old DCMM forum... I didn't close the thread... I closed the entire forum, on schedule. March 1st, as was announced for the entire month of February.
Also, we're trying to find a way/sponsors to help bring the cost down. Hopefully, our kind dealer in the area would consider helping us.
I will try to come up with more detail by the end of this week.
