Those look good ! Hard work, but nice final product.

Question: Do you think the A-Panels would look better in gloss black to match that trim, or do you like the contrast you get with the flat black ? I know your stripes are flat, but they don't directly touch the painted trim, so that's different.

Looks really sharp!!

I like the flat A-Panel for the contrast.

I do like the contrast from the flat black. You definitely cannot go wrong with either though. Frankly, if I want to go glossy black , I would paint the A panels instead. The glossy vinyls I've used in the past seems to show scratches more easily than the flat black.

Looks like quality work but all those different blacks going on are too busy for me.

looks good, contrasting painted arches and NOT body color are the only type of painted arches I think look good on the mini.

Sorry atcql but I think if you get rid of the contrast it makes the car look too much like just another car, it's harder to see the lines.

But obviously you disagree since you have a body color roof, wheel arches, and C pillars too ;p

Well sad to say that the A panels are actually coming off. I saw Einstein from afar yesterday and he does not look "right". Removing the sideskirt stripes has made his body too tall heightwise. I'll be lowering him and that tall door panels make him disproportionate. I'm going to remove the A panels and reinstall the side skirt decals.

Love the look... but...imo... loose the black wheels.
I think that's what's causing it to not look "right".

killasha: Didn't get new panels. Just took my stock ones off. The painter needs to prep the surface before actually painting them. This can be done multiple ways. If he's not confident, find another painter. I would just ship them to RedBull since his price is really competitive.

That looks awesome I want to do something similar to mine. I want to paint the arches whit to match the roof. So the car would be lightening blue metallic w/ white roof white mirrors and white arches. It actually will probably look crazy as hell but hey what the heck right?

jesus tap-dancing christ! $1200!! i guess my trim will remain unpainted and even if i had $1200 to blow i'd probably buy all the alta parts i've been wanting or a tire rim combo. thats unfortunate, i didnt think it would cost that much. oh well , thanks for the info and quick reply btw.
