Are you asking about installing an HID kit on your car? I think this it what you are asking so I'm going to answer it the best way I can.

I have done this on other vehicles including some of my previous ones, it definately helps at night and it looks cool too. You need to figure out what is legal in your state as far as power b/c there are 2K 5K 10K 12K... and some others. Or if you are like me and could care less just buy the 12K they are very bright! It's actually a really simple procedure. Yeah there are a ton of horror stories out there, but me personally I have never had a problem with any of them and they are in 3 different makes of cars a Honda, a Chrysler and a Scion/Toyota, and I bought them all on ebay.

Now although I have never done any on a MINI I would imagine it's pretty straight forward like any other car. If you can get a wiring schematic of the headlights it will tell you which wires are which, and most of the time when you buy the HID kits they come with some kind of instructions. Whatever you do, mount the ballast box someplace where it will stay dry and use actual electrical connectors, don't just wrap tie the wires together and use electrical tape.

I hope this helps.

I was not looking for a kit. Can you just drop in a set of Xenons like the 2 that are for sale on marketplace here. Are they plug and play...thanks for the reply

If you just want Xenons I'd say go for a set of those in NAM market place. Those after market ones..Halo have a little fit issue I dont really dig, a small gap at the bottom. I want 05-06 xenon projectors to replace my 03's

I really didn't want to go with after market...the projectors, pictured above, are more of what I have in mind....what's required to upgrade and where did you find them

Yes just plug and play, no splicing involved except if you want a 2nd pair of front indicators (which are in the new headlight). Some people leave it out and non functional.

Those pictured above are aftermarket lights. Search on eBay - that is where I got mine. I bought mine from a seller called Kazespeed.
