Heritage Garage- a league of there own.

I just got my Mini back from Graham and his crew after a major in depth engine repair which included a crank shaft regrind, new bearings for the rods and and crank, new cam and lifters, oil pump, clutch, differential and other odds and ends. If you could have seen the mess someone made when they "rebuilt" the engine it was unbelievable. When I got it home ( I live in Bakersfield ) and drove it for about an hour when I noticed the oil pressure had dropped. I went sick to my stomach. I called Graham right away. Through emails and phone calls we found out the cause was a little piece of debris that got caught between the ball and seat of the pressure relief valve. I cleared it out and all is good now.
I can not put into worlds the kind of great service, caring and professionalism of Graham and his crew. They are the elite when it comes to service of any profession in any field. If more services where ran like Heritage Garage I believe this country would not be in the mess that it is in now.
I can't express my gratitude and thanks enough for Heritage, they are in a league of there own.

Agreed. Graham had installed fully adjustable front suspension on my car when the entire front end was disassembled. Once they got everything back together, he mentioned that the left front wheel was rubbing when cornering, and was likely due to the ride height of the hi-lo suspension. Since he had already done the alignment, he gave me a few suggestions on actions I could take to remedy the rubbing (cutting the fender, different offset wheels, etc)

The last time I talked to him he said he raised the ride height a little to prevent the rubbing, and did the realignment again because he thought it was the right thing to do. He didn't have to, but he felt that it was important enough that he didn't want it to leave his shop with the rubbing issue. I get the impression that he's a perfectionist and really treats each customer's car as if it were his own. Indeed, it is rare to find a company with those traits and commitment to quality.

Cheers,
Jeff
