Installing a Subwoofer - help from a 08 non-S cabrio...

Hello all!
I just bough a subwoofer Pioneer TS-WX22A which has a built in amp...
May I ask for anyone who has expericence in this job since I spent a lot of time just to:
1. The subwoofer has a direct fused power line to the battery, how can I connect the line from the cabin to the battery under the hood? I spent an hour tried to look for a "hole" under the glovebox and steering wheel...
2. The subwoofer has a "power signal line" to connect to a ignition switch power source so the subwoofer can turn it on itself, do you think there is a point to connect at the back of the stock radio? or is it easy to connect this to the cigarette power? or any other ideas?
3. I "think" I could use the speakers output from the stock radio for the signal input to the woofer right? How and where shall I wire them under the carpet?
4. The biggest problem is the location of the subwoofer, where I thought the subwoofer could fit under the passenger front seat, i was wrong.... I think I could just put it in the trunk and I am just clueless now on how to wire it...
THanks all......
