Couple of quick questions and a funny story...

The first question that I have is this, it was fridged cold out side last week here in Ohio and I drove to work about 6am car working fine. After work at about 330 I got into my car and jumped onto the express way and noticed that my airbag light was on??? I pulled off shut of the car then back on and it was still lit. I went to advance and they ran my codes but the only thing that was tripped was my engine coolant temp code? Anyone have any help...

Secondly I was wondering if anyone had a diagram of the back of the cd player that is in a 03 "cooper" I was just wondering if there was an AUX input or what all was located on the back before I started tearing stuff apart. Thanks

Lastly the story... HAHAHA
I went to a junk yard here in Toledo, Ohio and asked them if they had a set of steelies for my car. The guy behind the desk wasnt sure what a steelie was. WTF? So I described what a "steel wheel" was and I would use it for my winter tires. Next he tells me that I can get them on line for 45$ new but he was going to charge me 65$ a piece. Are you kiddin me? I then asked about a different cars steelies that I knew would fit the Mini (aka right off-set and size). ***** This is the Kicker***** excuse my profanity... If you want a set of wheels go f*cking order them off the internet! This whole conversation was worked out while he was on his cell phone on a personal call with his wife... Needless to say he was a **** head and I will never return, and I am still searching for a set of winter wheels...

Your stereo should have a plug in for an AUX input. I think you just need to buy the input from your dealer or somewhere else. I had one in my 2002 MC that I installed myself and it just plugged right into the back of my head unit.

As far as the light....Check your connector underneath the seat (while the car is off). They are notorious for being a P.O.S. Sometimes corrosion or pin retention....and most times the plug just doesnt sit on it good. Regardless...your gonna have to have the dealership reset the code cause an airbag reset tool is rare and BANK...

yea I figured that I would have to get to a dealership the only problem is that the only Mini dealerships close to Toledo are, north side of Detroit, north side of Columbus and west side of Cleveland. Makes it hard to get over there plus Im a poor college student.

YOu might be suprised...there was an update to a bulletin released several years ago that increased the warranty for certain airbag codes(03,04,05,06) for 10yrs and up to 150k miles. The were very common and the reason for the update in coverage by MINI. You probably have one of these codes.
