Aesthetic Creations carbon handle covers, pics anyone?

I want to convert my R56 door handles to carbon and browsing at options right now. Aesthetic Creations has a cover that fits over the handle, has anybody seen those in person or have closeups pictures...

I dont mind the fact that this is only a cover, as long as the fit is perfect...

Thanks

The fit was not perfect,Mike however did provide some black vinyl to hide what did show.Looking at the handle from distance it appears to be perfect.I think i may have a shot(not close up) in my gallery.Q

that's very unfortunate, i was hoping to get them...

i heard that the r53's and 56's have the same door handles... i wonder if that's true...

i wouldn't mind giving the whole, take the whole door handle off thing a shot, if it would mean I'd get a perfect finish.

I have a "good unless you're looking up close" solution right now with black vinyl, but I want the, "up close and personal" look. I mean, carbon looks black from far away anyway, the reason you get it is for the up close and personal...

I am just worried that $200 for not quite a perfect fit might be a waste of money. I am concerned it would bother me and then I would either purchase a set of the Checker door handles and get them install or for around $275 I can have Lyle do it in Vinyl. I want something that look good.

^^ FYI, taking off the door handles is a very labor intensive job. The entire door has to be taken apart to get to the door handles.... not for the faint of heart.

I've seen the covers and they do look nice, but I had mine overlaid with carbon, this way they look like full carbon parts.
And the handles do need to be removed for this and that is quite a job.

as far as the whole door, what do you mean?

just the door panel? because that's all I would think would need to be removed... I've removed door handles in previous cars due to broken lock cylinders, I can't imagine it would be much worse.

take off door panel. remove whatever waterproofing crap they've got on to protect the window motor. Then bam, you should be looking at the inside of the door handle..

Um, there should be a write-up somewhere... I thought it was significantly more difficult than BAM! door handle. I heard it was the toughest to do on the door handle blacking-out process, and that is why there are handle covers.

That's why most people use that "Plasti-Dip." It is easy. I read it takes hours to do one side, but who knows.
