Please keep Donald White in your prayers. He drove himself to a small hospital in West Palm Beach, FL on Saturday complaining of chest pains. My sister-in-law, Peggy, and my niece, Vonda, flew down Monday morning to join him and find out what was going on. They had him moved to a larger hospital with a cardiology department this morning. He continues to suffer from severe chest pains. This morning Donald was told there were no blockages and his problems could be treated with medication. The information he was given later in the day bore no resemblance to this initial good news. Peggy, is unable to get any information out of the doctors nor will the doctors there take the time to call his regular doctors back home in Virginia Beach. We pray that he becomes stable enough to go back home and be treated on home turf. Please pray that God gives the doctors wisdom in dealing with Donald's problems and that they also give them some compassion to help his family so far from home. Floyd spoke with his brother last night. They discharged him from the hospital yesterday. He sounds better...now that he's where he won't be poked with needles every two hours. He did have a mild heart attack, turns out he doesn't also have pneumonia as we were told on Thursday. His heart is weak but hopefully he'll be able to recuperate at the condo for the next few days and be able to fly home to Virginia Beach to see his regular doctors. Im so glad that he's improving, Sharon, and I hope that he continues to do so. I hope Floyd is doing okay as well dealing with all of this.
