I see many MINIacs have stock tow hook i dont understand dose that meen they come with the car? If so where is it ? Or where can i get 1? Thanks Guys !

Match your mini? Probably not IMO. The whole tow hook thing is to mimic a motorsport/racecar look. Your car doesn't really give off the track car feel to me. It's used on track cars because the chance of an off-road excursion is more likely when running fast laps around the track. People put it on their street cars so they can make their cars look like race cars (i guess??)


Do R56 Coopers still come with spare tires like the R50? If so the tow hook is probably down with the spare tire. It should be somewhere back there in the trunk with the other various tools etc.

 

Oh , lmaoo, yah i knew what it was for and stuff i was just wondering where it was , i will take a look and see if its back there somewhere 2mrw .


BTW : i think my car will give more of a race car look after my viper strips are on .

 

When I was at the dealership, there was one in the boot under the carpeting in the toolkit. Right next the jack in the foam tray. Wish I had my car already, then I could give a more concrete answer. Of course, if I had my car already, I wouldn't be sitting here surfing the web...

It's in the trunk under the floor panel along with other tools.The spare is under next to the muffler.
