Areas being closed off are part of the 08 Yalla Yalla route (ie Nelson Rd - where the two satellite dishes are). They are saying the fire started on Olde Stage Road. This is the road that took you in (or out) of the Left Hand Canyon on the route.

From Longmont, we can see the fire burning.

 

OK so now we know where we won't be driving on the Ride to Anywhere.
