Alta, Miltek, JCW, Magnaflow, Supersprint or Madness exhaust?¿
hi everyone,
which exhaust of these would you recomend, with a header, the alta, miltek, maganflow, supersprint or JCW exhaust
Im gonna mod my car from stock, how i have it now, to the max.mods possible, intercooler, intake, cam, header, exhaust, NGK, 15%pulley...
im very thinking about the exhaust and their own sound, i like very agressive and good loud

Dude, you're going to get mad amounts of personnel preferences telling you that X is better than A. Please do yourself a favor and check out the exhaust systems thread and then if you have any questions, ask around. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...clips-etc.html
This is the ultimate information source for exhausts.

Maybe he didn't get the answer he was looking for in the other thread so he thought he would try again?

my personal preference is milltek for what it's worth.

Okay! My experience and opinion is as follows:
> I have an OBX header with a welded-in OEM cat. conv. since 2006
> I had the Milltek catback installed in 2005 and still have it
> The first installer had trouble centering the Milltek's tips with the OEM header, but I just lived with it for a while because of the sweet sound, which I still love
> When I added the OBX, I used a new installer, who got it all hooked up with no problems, and tried to cneter the tips again -- with limited success.
> The sound was now even sweeter.
> Took the car about 15 months ago to Steve's auto clinic in the SF Valley for some work, and asked them to see if they could do a better job of centering the tips. They perfected them.
> Just took the car to Dany At Minicorsa for some other work a week ago. He told me that among other things, I have an exhaust leak (it is not major, as I had no idea I had one, and even when he tried to hel me hear it, I could not. No one else has suggested that I have a leak, but everyone sez that Danny is a wizard, so I am inclined to let him mess with it to "fix" it, provided it will not cost me an arm and a leg. Frankly, I am not unhappy with the exhaust as-is, unless it is one of the factors that happens to be causing other tuning problems on my car!!
I am the only person I know of who has experienced these particular problems with the Milltek. As I mentioned before, I love the tone quality. I am addicted since the first time I heard it.
I checked out (first hand) "one-ball", and JCW, neither of which impressed me (too quiet), and Magnaflow (with OEM header) which I found to be a bit louder than I wanted (so you MIGHT like it!). I have not knowingly heard any of the others you listed, so I cannot comment.
Hope this helps.
