No more mini

Tomorrow the Cooper is gone, it is getting traded in. I have been wanting to get something a little faster than the Cooper but alot of fun. Also been needing a bigger vehicle for work so I came to the conclusion, I am getting another SRT, just not an SRT-4. This is the beast I bought:

Of course most of here are biased but...

What about when gas goes back up?

What about fun in the twisties?

Why buy a car from a company about to go bankrupt?

1. I work 95% of the time within 10minutes of my house
2. I have a motorcycle that I track
3. Having that attitude is part of the reason the country is in the financial shape it is in, cause nobody buys anything made here anymore. And plus I have always had Dodge's and had fun with them, especially the last one.

Nice looking truck!!! They are almost giving those things away now! Why????

Ya know the gas prices are going to be back around $4 per gallon though, right???

They are giving them away compared to the price of them new. By the time gas gets back to $4 gallon I should beable to start riding full time again

Provided for a chuckle, not necessarily my point of view.

I also support buying American... The only reason I supported the bailout initially. I see both sides, and the whole situation sucks.

Have fun with your new truck. I miss mine. Wife sold it before we moved to Guam.

Sorry to see you go. Be careful with that shifter, it looks like it's spring loaded and may kill someone. I'll stop my imagination there for the sake of the moderators.

wait a minute. was your car made at the Mexican plant or??? Was it made while it was owned by Daimler-Benz?? If yes to both, it's hardly an "American" vehicle in the traditional sense. Automakers are global....it's silly to think in us/them terms anymore.

And like PGT said, a lot of the stuff isn't even made here anymore. Chevy cripped itself by getting rid of the Camaro, and OMG SURPRISE they're bringing it back. But where was it made? Not in the USA.

But if it were made in the USA, tack on an extra couple thousand to pad UAW wages and benefits.
