Thanks, I have some more shots and I will have Jon post them later for me.

It is a Yakima bike rack. I bought all of the equipment that Kakima recommended but. I changed the dimensions of the feet so that it would fit on the MINI and still work with the sunroof. I had someone ask for the dimensions that I used and I will measure them and post them. The only problem is that Yakima said they don't recommend using a different setting than what they specify.

Later, Brad

Nice pics. Not that indi blue isnt a nice color, it is, I would have rather it been the blue on the RSX S, then I would have got it over electric blue, maybe, I dont know.

Yes, it WAS as much fun as it looked like it was! Great pix Brad! I particularly love the rear-view mirror shot (too bad we're all ticked off at BMW -- it would make a GREAT ad!).

Steep grades and sharp curves. If you drive a MINI you gotta love it. Thanks for the great pics.

Here are a couple more pics.

Everybody poised for the five miles of steep grades and sharp curves.

Two of our motoring passengers (Esther and Lily) experiencing the steep grades first hand.

What pass is that? I think Independence Pass but not sure. Definately haven't driven it. I'm from Boulder but couldn't make it. Looks fun. I will organize a fall drive from Boulder, just need to figure out date/time.

You got it. Independence Pass.

I work in Boulder, live in Longmont. I'm up for a good local drive ...... if it's not too long.

Independence pass was indeed a riot (I drove the electric blue S)! Lots of good runs out of Boulder! Take a canyon up to the Peak-to-Peak Highway to Estes and on from there! I'd go for it. (And Masher from Boulder can't resist it several times a week!)

Nice pictures, what kind of wheels are on the dark blue Mini with the black stripes and where can I get 'em?

Brad, Great Drive and Great pics, Do you have the measurements for your Yakima rack: tower locations on the roof relative to say the A or B pillar and width apart on the bars too.

Thanks Heaps

This is a reply for the last 2 posts.

1 - The Rims are Motegi Racing wheels. I don't remember the part number, but if you go to their web site you can see all the ones they have. They are 17x7, anthracite colored rims.

2 - I will measure the dimensions this weekend and post them on Monday.

Thanks,
Brad

Brad, I still need to send you directions on how to post pictures...I have not forgot, just lazy and a slacker in getting that info to you. Sorry, I will do it soon, like the first of the week after I recover from the work weekend.

cheers
