Check out the "Marketplace" folder for the thread on this. He's thinking of selling due to possible changes in the rules about modded cars and was wondering what The Mule would be worth.

Yes he is going to sell his Mule. He asked for feedback about selling it.
It's got a ton of mods and 11,000 miles on it. Race driven.
Neat car, All performance enhancements- about $10,000+ in add ons.

Randy has plans for additional MC or MCS testing and racing.
Should be a good year for him.

 

Oh I see it isn't fresh news after all...thanks for the link and glad to see he's not leaving the sport or something like that...after all,he's been one of the most helpful and knowledgable Mini enthusiasts on MCO.I especially appreciate those step by step with pictures installs he does...great stuff!

Yea, the Great One is moving up to a new '04 Mule (II). Looks like E-Bay is the place to go for a great machine with many, many go fast parts.

I have a pretty high reserve on the car, as I don't really want to sell it. I need to though if we are going to do further development with the Cooper, and race SCCA with the S.

Otherwise, I have to keep bumming Coopers from customers to be test mules.

If it doesn't sell, it will be modded a bit more and taken into SM next year for a serious attempt, and may run ITE as well (the bummer there being that ITE is a regional only class - no runoffs).
