I'm looking to replace my headlights to try to give myself a better view of the road at night.

I have chosen not to buy the Sylvania Silverstars since they are rated for 150 hours and don't want to replace them over and over. The reviews I'm reading all over the place point towards either:

1) Philips X-treme bulbs or
2) Philips Vision Plus bulbs

I see many people like the vision plus bulbs and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with these X-treme bulbs and if they would choose them over the Vision Plus.

This is exactly what I'm looking into. The stock halogens just aren't bright enough. I've seen good feedback on the X-Treme type bulbs. Hope some people chime in before I get tired of squinting at night.
