January 10th - will be here b4 we know it!

Ok, so even though the A Christmas Story House was my idea and I can't make it , I also have a great plan for next month!!! And, unless something drastically changes, I will be there (I do of course realize this may cause some of you not to attend)!

As I believe we've discussed at points in the past, I have a "kettle" reservation at The Brew Kettle in Strongsville http://thebrewkettle.com/ at 1PM. For those of you non-baptized, this is where you pick a single type of beer to make yourself, and then have a lot of fun (and beer drinking) while you're doing it. You average 72 22oz bottles per batch, and the batches average ~$150. So, I propose a "MINIndian Pale Ale," and whomever would like to go in on it (whatever the final cost is), we'll split it and the finished bottles accordingly. We'll also create our own label and be sure to have a Mini and BRM logo on it!

Please let me know if you'd like to be a "sponsoring" participant.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...beer...

Ah-here is the post-right in front of my face...how observant I am!

Moose is game for a few bottles (just a few as I am still unemployed)...I'll bring the camera!

Ok, well, if people are in, we need to decide which beer (I certainly vote for a pale ale) and what % each person wants. Prices average ~$150 for the batch, which averages 72 22oz bottles. I would like to do half the total amount at most. I have other groups interested in the reservation, so if we know we are still in, I will tell them sorry.

Let me add...an Indian Pale Ale, which in turn of course would be the previously mentioned MINIndian Pale Ale.

Ok, so, now to the important stuff...who actually wants to be an "investor?" I know Mark, Kim, Moose for a few. Anyone else?

I'll gladly chip in for a six pack or 2. Always in the mood for an IPA.

Ok...they are 22oz bottles (which, by the way, we have to go back and bottle in several weeks...I'll need some help with that too...date & time TBD), so why don't we plan on you in for one six pack of bottles, which will actually be more like two six packs of regular beer)!

we will probably just meet up with everyone at the brewery and skip Panera in the AM. We are watching our neighbor's puppy again this weekend and don't want to make it TOO long of a day gone for both her and our fuzz ball.

I'll still be at Panera if Spawn doesn't need ride to indoor soccer I was just informed that starts this Saturday. She can get her own ride home

IDEA

We do the usual meet at Panera. Then short drive to my house. Replace stupid light, replace front struts and sway bar, watch "Italian Job", then drive to brew-ha-ha!

Is the "Panera" of which you speak the one near 271 across from Best Buy/Costco?
Also, which Italian Job? I like both but I love only one ;-)
