10k miles and no problems

I got my MCS 6sp back in April and thusfar it's been great. I know that there are many more owners out there like myself. It seems like there are enough negative threads. So let's try to keep this one positive So for the new guy or gal looking to buy a new MINI Yes there are people out here who haven't had any issues at all.

That is great I haven't had any problems either other than some trim issues. But everything is subjective. I can go over peoples cars that they say absolutely nothing is wrong with it and find a handful of problems especially fit and finish.

I just passed 13,000 on mine [got it on 4/18] and my driving is mainly highway. I had a loose brakelight wire that was quickly fixed after week 1. Other than that no issues at all.

16k, picked up in Oct 07, no problems here! (touch wood)

Driving is all mixed for me, city, highway, high-speed, low-speed. It's been a great commuter car.

Only 6,500 here but zero problems to report. Car runs great, drives great, looks great. I'm glad I made this purchase in March 08.

I've got about 9,400 miles on it. The biggest problem was that it tipped over. Other than that, it needed a software update to fix voice activation, and now the dealer wants to put new exhaust tips on it so I don't burn my shinny shin shins.

Looked better than new when done.

I average 50 miles/day and have accumulated 9,000 miles since I was off and running in June 2008. It's been a great car and a pleasure to drive. No issues, no complaints...except &*% brake dust.

Here is the latest reliability record from Consumer Report. 08/09 R56/R55 is about as reliable as most latest Honda/Toyota models:

I've got 27K miles on my '07 MCS. Had a minor electrical problem in May 08 on the instrument panel and of course the ubiquitous melting intake scoop. Both fixed, great car and it is more fun to drive than about any other car I've owned since my first one in 1962.
