I think it'll be great; the lights are always unreal; you can loop the two miles as many times as you like (you know me and loops!!); you can park the cars and roast marshmellows; see Santa; take a train or sleigh ride; and the synchronized light show is 'som'in else'! To gather the troops (MINI's) you might want to regroup at the Starbucks on Harbison Blvd (it's just in front of Barnes and Noble and across the street from Sonics). After the drive-thru, might want to go back up Harbison (yes, tariff and all) to the Denny's/McDonal/Sonics area and have coffee; hamburger; whatever.
PS: The Harbison parking lot is very small; might want to park behind it in the lot adjacant to Barnes and Noble.
PPS: A Challange: TILLEY has her antler ears on; a lighted red nose; and blinking Christman lights around the windshield. Don't let her be the only one dressed for the occasion!!
Come on down Charlotte and share the spirit with Columbia (and Greenville and Charleston and ....everybody).

Hey everybody!
I won't be able to make this one
I am, however, looking for magnetic lights for the Mini. In years past, I have used outdoor lights and plugged them into my inverter. I zip tied the strand to various attachment areas on the truck. The problem now is the Mini doesn't really have a good places to zip tie the strands. I have thought about using magnetic cup hooks but I'm worried they may scratch the paint. Any ideas are appreciated - we're going to McAdenville on the 16th so I'd like to have something by then. The lights can be battery powered or 110v ac - I don't really care - I still have my inverter. Thanks in advance for the help - I hope everyone has a nice Christmas. Hopefully, I'll be able to join you all for the January meet 'n eat.
Thanks again!
Steve

How 'bout Sheroyn, I and TILLEY wait for you at the Starbucks on Harbison Blvd. Get off I-26 on Harbison Blvd; take a left going towards the mall; you'll go thru four stop lights then look for Starbucks on the left (just beyond Chill's and across the street from Sonics). I'll come there around 6:30 and wait for you; take your time, they've got plenty of coffee for me! Hope H.A.W.G. can come and I haven't seen Susan and David post?? Is there anyway to e-mail other local MINI owners and invite them? Wonder where the two couples from the Aiken area are; I bet they would come if we could get word to them; I'll poke around the Owners Lounge and see if I can find any addresses (but my luck with that site has been minimum at best!) See you Friday evening. Merry Christmas. PS: Hope your father is coming; he should find a 75 degree Christmas interesting!!
My Dad will be there, and yes we can meet you at Starbucks, i'll try and call Susan tonight... I put it on the forum, not sure how else to get the word out. I have sent out a mass email for Columbia stuff!
OK, David and I plan to come. We might bring my mom, also. Starbucks on Harbison at 6:15, correct?
Are we planning to eat? If not, we'll need to get something to mom before going to Saluda Shoals Park. In that case, we may need to pass on Starbucks and meet y'all at the park.

Possibly have three new MINI's at Harbison Starbuck with me tonight. Parking is sometimes tight at Starbucks so I may have us park in back of Starbucks at the side lot of Barnes and Noble; just come on in and give a look; we'll be on the lookout for you all. Everybody take a chill pill, the tariff will be terrible tonight....HO, HO, HO
Had a great ride thru the lights of Saluda Shoals. We had three MINI owners with us; welcome Cindy, Wendy and husband Dan; hope you'll join us in future events. Thanks to Carol for organizing another fun time.
