WTF Shylo has issues with only 2200 miles
Is anyone else who has a factory installed Anti theft alarm system have any false alarms? Mine does it about twice a day at a minimum (as far as I know)
I also experienced something very dis heartening today. I started the car after in had not been run for about 8 hours and a "differnt" knocking noise is what I heard. Not the same high pitched direct injectiontion noise but a slower more "bassy" knock. One of the Tech said it could be the timing belt.
BB <<< is only a little agitated at this point!!!!!
will shylo be taken away???

Sorry to hear about your car, Barry.
I'm sure you'll have it back in no time...I believe you may have heard the tech wrong, all my guys over there know this engine doesn't have a timing belt.

Is there a way we can adjust this ourselves. I did not know it could be set off by vibration until a couple of weeks ago. When I first got is I kicked the tires, which on other cars used to set it off. I figured it just had the sensor that could see movement in the car. Then the other week I had it in the garage and the alarm was set. I started my 70 corvette and when I revved the engine the alarm went off. That is the first time it went off. I guess it is set to only go off with a lot of force.
here is the update, car is still at the dealership waiting for a part and to be completed. >>Silver Lining>>> Save miles on my lease

No, only the dealer can set it to the best of my knowledge.
