Anyone have any recommendations on a place in Charlotte to get stripes installed? I bought a set of rally stripes for my S and considering I suck at installing even simple screen protectors correctly, I don't think I'm cut out to do it myself and make it look even half way decent

Planning on joining the m2c2 club after the first of the year as well, look forward to meeting more MINI owners in the area. I bought my 03 in late August, but have been swamped since and haven't had a chance to get the membership done yet.

Will do. Unless I see anything pop up over the next few days on this thread I may give FastSigns a call to see if they'll do it since they seem to do vehicle wraps and such

Let me know what they have to say. I had not thought of companies that do vehicle wraps. I will have to research that, I will post results if I find something.

 

Can't remember but email ARTSJCW he has had alot put on his MINI;s.

 

I bought my "Sport Stripes" from Hendrick MINI here in Charlotte, thinking they would be the ones who would be installing them. However, they actually contract with someone else locally to do the installation. I'm certain they could tell you who they use if you called them. I was very pleased with job they did and it only took a few hours one afternoon to put the stripes on!

Hendrick pointed me to AutoShield Carolinas, so I'm going to give them a call

 

Hendrick also used to work with someplace called Gasoline Graphics but I don't know anything about them.

 

Just got a PM from ARTSJCW and he mentioned them too, but said he thought they might be out of business, and also pointed me towards AutoShield. I did find a website for Gasoline Graphics so I may hit them up on email (only contact info on the site) just to see if they are still around

Mike @ aesthetic creations vetted some local installers for me and found a guy to put on my roof flag (the flag is 9 pieces and a touch complicated) and bonnet stripes. I will decline to throw a name or number out on the web, I don't want to endorse someone I do not know. It will be a week or so until I get my stuff, when it is installed I will gladly report the results to you.

The previous owner bought them and never used em, and I decided to go with a different style, so if anyone wants these, they are available at a great price (free! ). I'm on the south end of Charlotte and can meet anywhere in the area, or I'll be happy to drop em in the mail too, so if anyone is interested, let me know. First come first serve! I'll put them on the marketplace Monday afternoon if I don't hear anything here, just figured I'd give some local folks a shot first.

Finally got around to joining m2c2 tonight as well, hope to make it out to an event soon!

 

If no one takes you up on these, I'll take them. I have a white roof, mirrors and white stripes but I'm getting ready to change everything to black.

my graphics arrived yesterday from AC... will have to get them installed this week and post the pics here!!!

 

Sorry for the delay in updating this, been a long weekend... Anyway, these are spoken for, thanks for the interest!

 

Getting installed tomorrow... 10 am. Pictures will come as soon as they are done. I look forward to the feedback and to motor out with something other than my bland silver silver color combo. I can hardly sleep I am so excited!

 

... and of course, one piece of the graphic did not arrive... and it is the base piece... this waiting is killing me....

 

So now I have to wait until Saturday night, all parts are in though, hopefully some fresh pics up on Monday.
