Sorry if this has been covered before. I searched through other threads and couldn't find a clear answer. I have a 2006 R53, build date 8/06. Is my correct lug bolt the M14 x 1.25 @ 28mm? Most places pin the R53 @ M12 but I read about Mini changing the size in an effort to get the system ready for the launch of the new mini.

as far as i know every MINI made after 5/06 has M14 bolts. I came across this issue when getting a set of rims... I was looking into some SSR comps on tirerack.com and they were $512 ea. for a 5/06 and up MINI, but $365 ea for pre-5/06!!!! I guess it was just b/c of supply and demand. they only had 2 of the M14 sized rims. needless to say, I wasn't about to pay over $1k for 2 rims.
