Meet at the Dairy Queen on Wilkerson Blvd at 6:30pm to eat,then Motor to McAdenville to drive thru the town to view all the Christmas Decorations

 

This is a great idea... I think it would be cool for the folks of Christmas Town to see a MINI train... they don't see that every day.

 

No but they have seen one for the past 3 years and maybe longer. This is an annual event we do. If you never been to Christmas town as it is called then you need to do this run.

Shoot, TILLEY and passengers are going to have to miss this year (it was beautiful last year); a Christmas gathering to attend; but, if you all can take two light shows in a week, Carol has a great light show lined up in Columbia at 6:15, Friday, Dec. 19 (Saluda Shoals Recreational Park...lights, marshmellows, Santa, sleigh rides, synchronized light show..the works). See her blog and come join us if you can.

Does anybody know where I can find magnetic Christmas lights? I'm looking for some to put on the Mini for McAdenville. 110v or battery - either one is ok. In the past I have used regular outdoor lights and plugged them into an inverter. The problem now is there is nowhere to "attach" the lights ON THE Mini. I know I can get some magnetic cup hooks and use my old lights - I'm just worried about scratches in the paint. Any help is appreciated.

Okie Dokie, so I waited until 6:50 pm for everyone @ the Dairy Queen on Wilkinson Blvd, no one showed. Did I miss a very important detail about the meet up spot or was everyone a no-show?

 

Which DQ did you go to? Apparently there is more than one on Wilkinson, and I figured that out when the navigation on my phone tried to take me to the wrong one - luckily I passed the right one on the way.

 

We were there and my navigation got me to the address listed below. I'm sorry we missed you!!!

Maybe everyone needs to get the phone numbers of fellow members so next time you could call one of us... Sorry for the confusion

 

I went to the only DQ on Wilkinson I know of, right after Remount Road between 77 & 85. Is there another one? I googled and there is one in Belmont too, I guess I just assumed Charlotte was the meeting spot. I am so QC-centric!!! :-) Its all good, my wife and I still went, just a solo MINI.
