Does anyone know the steps to take to remove the main airbag module itself for the R56.
I had the airbag code cleared, but the error code for "repair the Airbag module" is coming up.
I was hoping to find pix & instructions for taking apart the center console?
So I can reset the module.

It is in the center console under the handbrake handle. The center console is easy to remove, just unscrew the front and rear cupholders then push the whole center console forward about an inch. Pop out the trim around the handbrake boot by popping off the rear and sides first, and then the gear shift boot by pulling straight up. Then you can pull the center console up and out. If you have an automatic, I'm not sure if there are additional steps to removing the boot besides just pulling up.

Do you know if the Airbag module can be reset,
or does it need to be replaced and reprogrammed for the car?
