Finally did something to my ugly gold rear grills JCW!

Well my car came with some pretty ugly rear grill, as you can see in the picture.

And i was inspired by this car.

So i took off the stickers and cut some holes in it, masked off the area and painted it. I also painted the heat shield black!

Sorry for the blurry pic(tripod was upstairs)
What do you guys think. I like the outcome.

-Fred

Also i was thinking about doing something new with my rims, i was thinking about painted the lips a different color. i was thinking about doing it an chameleon color, but not that ricer super colorful kind. The one i might use changed colors from purple to copper. I used it on my race helmet a while ago and it looks good! ill keep you guys updated!!!

This might be a silly question, but what type of saw did you use to cut out the holes? I've been thinking about what to do with my rear aero bumper and I'm a little worried about cutting it up. Any good tips?

Looks good, I like the contrast between the red and the black. One question can you see the exhaust cans through them?

How did you measure for the holes? I'd be afraid of misaligning them.

You forgot to blur your plate in one of those photos... Now all the internet stalkers and thiefs will be after you and will steal your stuff.

You took great pictures of the break down and install. You should post some pictures of the finished job of the same quality ! It sure would be easier to compliment the work !

ya i measured it, i think it was 2.5 inch spacing. it was very simple to do, i thought it was gona be a lot more difficult. the hardest part was masking off the areas i was gona paint. other then that i was easy.

and i will be posting new pic up soon. i just detailed my car with Zanio Bros products
