Hi everyone. I'm in big need of assistance. My wife has a 2004 MINI in Italy. We're not sure if it meets US spec. I checked my buddy's MINI here in Boston and the FHSMV (spelling) sticker is on the car frame near the driver's side door.

If the necessary sticker is on the Italy model, would it be in the same place? I have read some talk of the sticker being on the bottom of the engine? How on earth can I verify that without taking out the engine?
