Which wheel looks better with my car? I'm having the hardest time debating. I'll be ordering a set sometime Jan.? But I'm so stuck. I love the spoke look and their both nice.

I have a PW/PW Car, blacked out. Soon to have aero grills and CF Mirror Caps.

Which one matches better? The OZ Ultraleggera Matte Graphite Silver or the Team Dynamics 1.2 Anthracite?

Is gray better or black? or bright silver?

I like the superturismo's, but their so damn heavy.

You've got to appreciate the shades of Ultraleggera. I prefer the silver on pepper white, but its your call.

In the final days before I bought wheels I flip flopped between the TD 1.2 and UL for about a week. I finally went with the ULs and haven't looked back. For PW black out I think black wheels



I was looking at the superturismos as well, but I decided I wanted black wheels and they were only available in silver. Funny that the superturismos are now available in black after I dropped the cash on the ULs

 

I agree with Alex: The silver UL's would look great on a PW car!

 

Silver on a blacked out car? I have no chrome on my car though! The UL black...is that a matte black or a shiny black? How about the TD? I saw pics of the black TD 1.2 that was shiny as heck...like cheap plastic shiny. It's suppose to be like a matte flat black right?

I'm having a hard time deciding because everytime I go on the "show me your wheels" thread, I see bad pictures of the TD wheels and I would opt for the UL. But then I'd see a bag picture of the UL and want to opt for the TD. What a big decision.

 

One vote for black UL's!!

 

Well, I had the same doubt for my PS/PS mini, with carbon mirrors, carbon trunk handle, aero grills...I finally chose the TD in anthracite, also because ULs are very popular here in Italy also amongst non-MINI owners so you see them a lot around...and I didn't want a wheel that was so common. TDs, I've yet to see them here in Rome, and in the whole Italy there may be 10 or so MINIs with them... If only they could get here fast so I can finally fit them!

 

Purely a taste issue. If the TD1.2 came in silver or the graphite (which is a great color, IMO) then the TD1.2 would be my choice, no doubt. BUT THAT IS ONLY BECAUSE I don't like wheels on which the spokes run across the lip, as they do on the OZ UL. Just me.

However, I did not see any color but black for the TD 1.2 (maybe I didn't see how to see other colors otheir site?). If only black is available, then I'd go with the OZ UL.

Just to give you a bit more input, here's a couple pics of my car, PS/PS, with the recently fitted TD 1.2 in black. I guess this is their anthracite, to me it looks more like a matte black, but I like it nonetheless I just don't like their glossy black so I stayed away from it

 

That's an interesting effect. As you move closer the color becomes more lighter. But from far away it looks like a shiny black...not something I'm fond of... but they look great. Are they 17s?

I had my mind set of the ULs not I have to think twice again...

 

I think it's my camera, it's not the best one around. I'll be sure to look more closely at them and tell you if they are shiny or not but they didn't seem so

 

mostly just due to the camera.. the picture is under pretty intense sunlight.. just the closer he got, the more reflection he got off the wheels..

 

Black ultraleggeras to compare... though, on a JB/JB...

 

Mmh, the colour seems very similar to my TDs...I gues they are matte black after all
