GP Wheels on a non-GP MINI

Does anyone have pictures of Regular MINIs with GP wheels? I saw a picture on MINI2 of PW/B MCS with GP wheels and it was HOT, so i wanted to see if anyone else had done this?

Here's a pic taken few hours ago at one of the biggest Mini USA dealers, for the my GP wheels with Michillin SP tires. They are waiting for few other parts to join the package and have them sent to me:

I'm sorry to say that the wheels are the best thing in the car. I can not understand why someone would get a very special OEM thing like the GP wheels and have them on such a strange car. A Mini with GP wheels should be 100% OEM. Check mine at http://auto-works.cc/projects-checke...iautomatic.htm

Those look like the 17-inch reps judging by that tire thickness...

Well that strange car is a MINI and those are most likely replica wheels since MINI requires proof of GP ownership(VIN,Registration) to order GP wheels.

Man you confirmed my hunch. I had some doubts that those are not original GP wheels...

Go I love those pictures and the way the wheels complement the car's look. At the last picture, one of the rear license plate bulbs is gone. There aint a complete car!!

GP wheels should be exclusive to the GP, in my not-so-humble opinion. Go aftermarket if you need to be different.

just so you know your website has the stock mini horsepower spec listed as "170 hours power".

Hi Creeve,
I never knew that. I'll correct it myself to 168hp. The new version would be up in couple of minutes.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

In the market section there are "GP style" wheels manufactured by Harrison Wheels. They look identical to the GP. I did a google for Harrison Wheels and found nothing. Anybody heard of this manufacturer?

I love the GP wheels, and for a little while, I did look into purchasing the aftermarket rip-off versions for my "normal" MINI Cooper S. At that time, they were made by WORX wheels. They were not a 100% accurate copy of the GP wheels. They're a little thicker in spots, and therefore not as well-proportioned looking. The originals are still the best.

I am now of the opinion that they should only be used on the GP.

If you want them without having to deal with the whole GP Vin deal ( we don't have to do that over here)

and yes they are the real deal i don't know what the current conversion rate is(somewhere around $1500 including shipping)
