Suspension Leveling the R56

Greetings.. I have had my 08 MCS for about two weeks now and simply love it. I'm curious though, is there a way to level the car so that the rear isn't so much higher than the front? I am already thinking about lowering springs or maybe even coilovers but all I really would like to do initially is just level her up.

How big is the difference? In an earlier thread, someone had noticed the same issue only to find out that the rear was higher because the dealership had left the spring spacers in place from the original transportation from the VDC.

Other than that, there isn't much height adjustability in stock form. You can get lowering springs, but many times they actually take the car from front rake to rear rake rather than level the car out.

I had new spring perches made for my JCW because the rear was 2 inches higher than the front. Now it's only 1 inch higher & looks much better. The local machine shop charged me $75 & the modification looks O.E.

I had not thought about the spring spacers. I'll check it later. I haven't measured the difference but I would estimate the difference is about 1 to 1.5 inches.
