so I was on Mini2.com and I came across a thread about people ordering the 4 piston JCW brakes for thier cars.... could you really get those brakes in the states?!?!?!?!?! as a part? you know just like ordering the JCW stage 1 kit? im puzzled

 

yes it's a kit for the R56 Coopers in the states. Check with a dealer for pricing. You can also get just the JCW Rotors, drilled and slotted for the R56S standard brakes too. FYI, The stock R56S brakes are the old R53 JCW brakes. So the R56S comes with a BBK, just needs better pads. Maybe Carbotechs?

 

so you can order the 4-piston brembo brakes from the factory built JCW's? That's what I'm getting at, so you'll get the front huge cross drilled rotors and the 4-piston caliper? yeah I knew about the R53's JCW brakes on the R56's.

 

There are two size rotors with the JCW name for the R56, one that fits in the stock caliper and the other, bigger, that fits in the 4 piston unit.

Interesting...price is a little hard to swallow, but does come with factory warranty, so it's got that going for it.
