I just replaced my stock tires with goodyear eagle f1's. Those run flats really do suck. I bought the eagle's because of the price dif. It seams like the car is stuck to the road. The curves I was taking at 55 now are at 65. I love my car!

 

New rubber really is the best and easiest way to improve handling.

 

I bought Eagles because they seemed like the best alternative, I never worried about the price. They were better in all ways than the stock runflats which came with Quentin. They handled much better, were quieter and rode better. I later realised I made the mistake of getting all seasons on Quentin, they truely sucked handling wise, no grip at all. Performance run flats do better, and the last set that came with Shawn actually seemed relatively comfortable as well.

I've put Eagles on all the MINIs since Quentin. The only thing they're not too good at is tread life, they wear out pretty quickly. They wear out even faster if you ever take them to the track. I took 2mm off them in one day on the track.
