03 cooper seats to 06 MCS sport seats

Just swap my 03 cloth cooper seats for 06 MCS sport seats and as I was doing the install I noticed the airbag connection are different. My 03 has 3 connection yellow, blue, and black while the 06 seats just have a yellow connection. Is there a way to fix this with out bypassing the airbag sensor?

Nope...and you also have to contend with the passenger seat weight sensor....

if you have an '03, you don't need the OC3 mat.

side question - The yellow connectors are different?

your car is not equipped to handle the OC3. It's a weight sensor for the passenger's seat that was added mid 2005 (so the airbag shuts off if there's a child up front). Just leave it unplugged and you're fine
