Another Noob Review - Prima Products

Last weekend, I washed the MINI Pooper with Dawn, taped him up and gave him his first coat of Prima Epic. I picked up a roll of painter's tape at Home Depot and it was very easy to use. But the taping took me two hours! Next time I just have to keep telling myself I am just waxing the car and not re-painting it. OK, so I over did the taping a bit, but it was worth it. The Epic went on very easy and after it was dry, buffed right off.

The shine is beautiful, even on a Pepper White. The black roof just beams. A friend of mine who is not very aware of these things actually said to me how shiny my car looked on Saturday night.

I am also using the Clarity for the windows which is great. In fact, I've started using it around the house because it leave absolutely no streaks. Great product. This weekend, I'm gonna wash and use the Hydro as I usually do. It should be even better now that I've got the Epic on.

Here are some pics:

Prima Rules!

Hey richs10- another Week 23'er here. You're right on with the Prima Products. My Bigelow sparkles and he's so slick! Nice job detailing your sweet Clubby!

Here's my 2 cents: "Mystique" wash solution beads the water nicely and I love the matte finish of "Nero" for the interior. "Clarity" and "Slick" are awesome on the glass and Slick is also great for the interior/exterior. I used "Amigo" to rub a weird little stain off the exterior paint the other day and it worked like a charm! Hydro and Swirl are fab and now I have to try the Prima leather care. You can't go wrong with Prima!

I would love to get some Nero, Black Wow and Slick, but since my 401K is now worth $1.98, I'm gonna have to satisfy myself by applying multiple coats of Epic. Very thin coats at that.

And the only way I can justify buying a bottle of Banana Gloss is if there is a nutritional label on the bottle.

Nice work - love you Clubby and the color.
BTW - Nourish is really great for leather. Good smell (but not too much) and easy to work in. Remember though to clean your leather more often then you condition. You can use a leather cleaner such as Four Star for the cleaning.

I'm glad to hear about the Nourish. Hadn't seen much about that on here, but was hoping it was going to be good.

I got Glide, Amigo, Banana Gloss, Slick, Hydro, Nero, Nourish, and Black WOW. I'm sure my arm is gonna want to fall off by the time I am done, but that Hot Chocolate is gonna look sa-weet! (pun intended )

I apply Nourish with my bare hands - makes them nice & soft.
I really like that new Hot Chocolate color. It will look awesome with Epic.
Next step, think about getting a Porter Cable for polishing. A person only has a few arms so best to let a machine do the work and keep your arms attached.

Yeah, I'm going to have to invest in that Porter Cable. I didn't get the Epic, because the Banana Gloss sounded so good on it's own. Hoping it will still look great.

Oh BG looks great too, just doesn't last as long. It makes up for that by being quick & easy.
