USB iPod/Bluetooth iPod question...

So I don't think there is a way to do this, but I want clarifacation.....

With the iPod plugged in, you see a list on the head unit for Album/Artist/Song.... If I select any of those options, say for instance Artist, and I want to scroll down to Red Hot Chilli Peppers, is there a quick way of scrolling, all i can find is to go through the whole list, which takes a long time, and means twisting the **** a lot.... i would imagine doing a lot of ware to the **** itself. Is there a way of skipping through the list faster?

I haven't found any fast way. What I do to minimize scrolling, I took my 20 favorite playlists and put a number at the beginning which placed them at the top of the list. I guess you could do the same with your favorite artists.

The only thing I could come up with was turning random on and scrolling from a track that was (hopefully) closer.

such a bad oversite, they should have programmed in the alphabet, so you could hop to the first letter of the artist/song/title name
