I have always wanted to see a thread on your favorite driving roads.... So here it is.. Post your favorite to unleash your MINI COOPER'S wrath and scare the asphalt into submission!

- For the record I would have to say that my favorite driving road is the Cherohala Skyway in TN/NC (In my opinion this road is better than "The Tail of The Dragon"). My favorite local road is probably the back roads of Pungo, VA (Muddycreek Rd if any of you are familiar?). Another one of my favorite weekend drive type activities is exploring the isolated and all but forgotten towns of the Eastern Shore of Virginina (Very Interesting).

- Anyway I know that every one of you guys must have a facvorite road SO PLEASE DON'T HESISTATE TO POST! POST POST POST! This is going to be so cool !

 

Yea I did pungo over the summer, fun road.

 

Hwy 30 around Fall Creek Falls in TN is a great road. Also Old 96 around Leapers Fork TN is a great road too.

 

I enjoyed the Cherohala Skyway, but can't really compare it to the Dragon. The Dragon was more challenging, and the Cherohala had great views and was enjoyable, but not very challenging.

Pacific Coast Highway, hands down. Though I've never driven it in a MINI, it's the best road I've ever been on.

Great thread though! Hopefully this will be a place to come whenever I have a free weekend.

 

Highway 95 from Mexican Hat to Hanksville Utah. Not for slow speed. Run like it's catching up on you. Drove 148 miles without passing another car.

Highway 431 from Incline Village Nevada to Highway 395. Downhill. OMG. Tight and fast.

 

Yep. My commute every day - Topanga Canyon for the awesome twisties, then Pacific Coast Hwy to Santa Monica for the beauty.

 

AZ 89a from Prescott to Skull Valley. 15 miles of the twistiest, most challenging turns I've ever done. You gotta pay attention if you go fast on this baby. My wife won't drive it because it makes her sick!
