Euro Photoshoot

Not sure where to post this up but here seems as good a place as any. Some of the euro guys and I from our local car club decided to do a little photoshoot Saturday evening after spending all day washing the cars. Let me know what you think. Results were as follows:

Nice!

Any of you guys coming to h2o this weekend? A bunch of the euro'd MINI's should be there. I'm driving out Thursday. You should come if you can make it. Best car show on the east coast all year

Very nice shots. The color saturation in low lighting is awesome. What kind of camera did you use?

I must respectfully disagree. Haha, only because its our club's show this weekend as well so we won't be making it. My buddy in the white GTI there is pretty heavy into the show scene though, he was at waterfest. Hopefully next year though.

And I don't actually remember about the camera. My buddy took the shots, I know it was his SLR but I'm blanking out as to the brand/model.

Thanks man I appreciate it. The GTI is really clean too, he has some really sweet parts coming in for it soon as well. I just recently took the bonnet stripes off the mini and I'm not happy with it atm.

The best part that I like is how there are different cars in the shoot. Can't spend all the time bashing fords vs chevys, nice to see Vee-dubs with da mini's, yah.

If it helps, I like it better without the stripes.

If you ever decide to put stripes back on you, you should offset them wide like my old Cooper. It helps the stripes look cleaner

Good call. Question though, did you not use a pre cut bonnet stripe like from aesthetic creations because it doesn't appear that it would follow the different section of curve on the grille?

Nice night shots. The GTI looks massive next to the Mini on the fourth picture.

No I just used straight cut stripes rather than contoured stripes. It works a lot better

How many of you are bringing your Minis to H20?

I'll be down, but we're taking my boyfriend's MkIV Wolfsburg since I totalled my MkIII last month (and bought a MCS). I wish I could bring the Mini, but I'll let him have the fun this year...

Maybe I'll bring the Mini next year (after coilovers and exhaust are put on of course)

I think there should be atleast 5 MINI's....there are like 8 MINI owners coming down with us, but some of them are bringing alternative cars like VW's or Audi's for the show.

I know two of our MINI's will be parked inside the show in the club section if you wanna check them out.
