I am getting her tinted on Thursday and am just wondering what the 18% tint and the 35% tint looks like on an Astro Black mini. Personally, I am leaning towards the 18% just to get it more blacked out. Anyone have pictures of an AB?

Got it done today! Can not be happier with it. I also had a strip added on the top of the windshield which helps in the late arvo. Its 18% all over with an 18% strip on the windshield.

Looks good. Do you know how wide the windshield strip is? Looks thin compared to mine.

Thanks. The strip is about 10 cm or 4 inches wide I think. We are not allowed to tint more than 10 cm or to the highest point of the wipers. I had to break that rule as the minis wipers come very close to the top anyway.

Arvo is Australian slang for afternoon. So late arvo means late afternoon.

 

Sorry just read your thread, here was our AB S done by Tint-a-car in what they call Formula 1 (I assume 18%).

Double layer Limo... Not AB, but you can go dark....
5% strip on the windshield...had it updated recently...



Both these windshields are done in 50% with a 5% strip on the silver...these are the best pics i Got for now...most are from when i was in transition of windshields( both front and rear ) and didnt have tint on either....
