About a year ago I met a member of the Portland MINI Club at PIR. He showed me his wife's MINI which was painted pink with either white or black stripes. I believe the lady/owner in question was a former President of the club??

At any rate, my wife is interested inpainting her MINI pink as well and wanted me to track down the contact info for the owner to see where she had the work done and for what price.

Any leads you may have on how to reach this person would be greatly appreciated.

You talked with me -- the car belongs to my wife. We got it painted at Nu Way Body and Paint in Portland. Rasmussen and Nu Way work well together, so when the car arrived, from the UK Rasmussen sent it over to Nu Way who painted it and put it all together.

The original color was Pepper White. Black would have been better, but MINI stopped doing the Jet Black for 2006 and the Astro Black is metallic.

Does this pink MINI live in Corvallis? While I have never seen it, I'm told that there is a bright pink MINI parked regularly downtown.

 

There are two pink MINIs in Oregon....The pink with black stripes lives west of Portland and a darker pink one lives in the Corvallis area.
