Suspension H&R springs/H&R 19mm sway vs TSW springs/IE 22m sway
H&R springs/H&R 19mm sway vs TSW springs/IE 22m sway
H&R springs with H&R 19mm sway bar compared to TSW springs with Ireland 22mm swaybar.
Any thoughts on one spring/sway setup versus the other for my application below? Differences in driveability, comfort and performance? I understand that the look of the H&R's is a tad lower with more rake than the TSW's which appear to level as well as lower the car. Effect of spring rate differences? Looks like the Ireland sway bar has infinite adjustablility which might prove an advantage. Cost appears to be about the same.
Princially for street use, with Ireland fixed camber plates and some rear lower control arms, stock shocks for now. R53.
Guidance, experience and pure conjecture all appreciated as I want to do something here other than coilovers, but not my area of expertise.
Thanks.

I had the H&R 19mm bar on my 02 MCS with stock shocks with eibach's ( very close to H&R) my shocks wore out very quickly and the ride was harsh. For street the 19mm is more than ample plus the bonus of the H&R bar is the bushings are maintanence free, no lubing and never squeeks. Hope that helps.
PS If I hadn't already had the Ebach springs I'd have gone with H&R as they seem to give the best look IMO

I've got the tsw springs with an h-sport 22mm bar and I really like it. My reason for going this way is the tsw springs are linear which means that the spring reacts exactly the same as a stock spring just slightly heavier duty. I think that the tsw springs actually ride nicer than stock. It was a nice surprise better handling and better ride.

Also note the 19mm solid bar and the 22mm IE HOLLOW bar will give about the same level of performance, the IE bar will weigh less too.
I am running the TSW springs and they are great. They don't over lower the stock shocks so they keep adequate travel. I am running a 22mm solid progress suspension bar set on soft and its beautiful. In this case I would go with the lighter hollow IE bar.

I just changed my suspension due to a cracked shock mount. That "little" inconvenience led to switching out the stock front bushings for Powerflex urethane ones and switching from the stock shock mounts to the IE fixed camber plates, but then I went all-in by switching from stock parts to the TSW springs and the IE 22mm rear sway bar. Overall, the ride is great. My only minor complaint is that the IE bar is a little squeaky at low speeds (I am told due to its metal bushings and I suspect it squeaks at higher speeds too, but it is not noticable when the car is moving more that just a few MPH).
