What to use to clean center console?

I tried to search but I couldn't really find what I was looking for.

The cupholder that came standard on the '06's wasn't a match for my caramel macchiato and bumpy roads so a lot of it came spilling out around the center console, the tube trim foot well area place, and even around the shift boot and mirror switch. I've tried using a wet towel to wipe it clean but the stains would reappear when the trim console was dry.

Any products to use that could clean up the coffee/caramel without any damage? I figure I would ask before I used something that might possibly bleach the plastic/vinyl/whatever.

I would try Simple Green. Then something like 303 Protectant after.

In cases like this I usually open both doors and shoot it out with a fire hose.

Don't drive and drink - the mess is not worth it.

Mix up a small pail of warm water and Dawn and with a clean micro fiber towel with most of the water wrung out, start carefully washing small areas. With another clean microfiber towel from a bucket of clear water wrung to nearly dry rinse the area you just washed. After you are completely satisfied with the wash/rinse go over with a vinal cleaner or Aerospace 303. Patience is virtue in cases like this - go slowly.

^ good technique.

I've also used 409 cleaner in such cases... but still need to rinse well and apply protectant when done.

i would just use InteriorCleaner from Griot's or just warm water with
some soap on a towel and wipe it down real well. might even have
a hot water bucket near by to rinse the towel out a few times.

followed by some Prima Nero 50/50.

I'll try some of the suggestions and hope it all works out.

And though it's a completely unreleated topic to the thread and I can't find anything helpful from the searches, I've hosed down the OEM rubber floormats and let them kind of air dry outside, but now they look all faded and old. Anyone know any dressings that could make them black again without the slickness? I won't try Black WOW since I've read it'll stain shoe soles and anything else it touches in the interior to black.

yah BW is no the stuff to use on it.

just use Nero50/50 and air dry. (matte black finish)

it will be a tad slick the first few days but will wear out in no
time to a nice finish.

+1, Griot's Interior Cleaner, followed by Nero.
